Pat Metheny Group Niles co-produced the influential album American Garage featuring Lyle Mays, Danny Gottlieb and Mark Egan. Ray Charles (CD Strong Love Affair SONGWRITER and arranger of ''''All She Wants To Do Is Love Me', 'No Time To Waste Time', ''Everybodys Handsome Child') Niles has conducted for Ray Charles at Earls Court, London (1994), The Louvre, Paris (1997) and Glasgows Clyde Auditorium (1999) broadcast on BBC Radio 2. Incognito (Jazz Funk) Niles co-produced and wrote the brass (Chris Hunter and Guy Barker) on this seminal British record. Silje Nergaard Introduced to Slije by Pat Metheny, Richard discovered her and formed Lifetime Records with Graeme Perkins to release her first album. Niles was co-songwriter, arranger & producer of 3 albums including a duet with Pat Metheny, Tell Me Where You're Going No.1 in Japan 1991. Hubbards Cubbard Producer and composer of 2 CDs for Coda records Hubbards Cubbard and Nip It In The Bud featuring Guy Barker and Chris Hunter. Guy Barker In 1986 composed an orchestral piece for trumpet and the London Symphony, Ear Trumpet. Morissey-Mullen (1980) Producer and composer of 'Its About Time' for this influential British jazz-funk group. Jim Mullen Producer/arranger Thumbs Up (1980 - Coda) Burns (2001-Black Box), Animation (2002 -Black Box), Somewhere In the Hills (2003 - Hep) Proof that Jim Mullen is one of the finest guitarists living or dead. The New Gary Husband Trio (From The Heart) BBC Big Band Richard has arranged, composed and conducted many radio broadcasts and live concerts since 1980s. His set of pop and jazz standards at the Falkirk Festival for ex-Hue & Cry singer Pat Kane was broadcast on BBC Radio 2 (2002) Niles has produced many live radio sessions for BBC Radio 2s New Jazz Standards (now in its 4th series) with many respected jazz artists including: The Yellowjackets - Bob James - Michael Brecker - Danilo Perez - Mike Stern - Chris Hunter - Regina Carter - Boney James & Rick Braun Jane Monheit - Richard was pleased to do three arrangements for one of his favourite singers, Jane Monheit, for her concert with the BBC Big Band and strings from the London Session Orchestra transmitted January 2003 on BBC Radio 2. |
